SJP Collection Launches at Nordstrom

It’s finally here! The SJP Collection by Sarah Jessica Parker makes its debut exclusively at Nordstrom today. I’ve been anxiously awaiting the launch of Sarah Jessica’s shoes, handbags and trench coats and I wanted to share a few of my favorite pieces.

I really like the Diana pump, the shoe we glimpsed before the launch. Named for Princess Diana, this shoe is Sarah Jessica’s take on the classic Manolo Blahnik Mary Janes that Carrie Bradshaw discovered in the Vogue accessories closet on Sex and the City.

Overall, the collection is colorful, delicate and lady-like with lots of T-straps and moderate heel heights. Being a New Yorker without a car service on call, I tend to choose shoes that are a little more sturdy for making it over hard earth and navigating subway stairs but there are some lovely choices for days where I don’t have to do much walking. I could see myself tipping around in ‘Diana‘ ($365) above and ‘Etta‘ in Pink Mauve ($425) and ‘Bobbie‘ in Mint ($365) below.

I also like the two handbag choices, the ‘Beekman‘ Grosgain clutch for $245 and the ‘New Yorker‘, a sumptuous leather hobo priced at $375. I’m not usually a fan of hobo style bags but this one is lovely.
